"Let us bring a bit of "joie de vivre" to your day!
The Index-a running list of gritty real moments at our house
Biggest beagle, Lou, has mastered using our little guy's Learning Tower ( a wood stool w/sides for a toddler to use) as a vehicle to counter surf. He continues to get bigger...
Fisher (5 year old) ran downstairs when he was supposed to be getting ready for bed in order to jump on the 3 ft wide trampoline we have in our living room, one last time. He was buck naked.
Our little Joe (18 months) calls out to whatever parent is not with him when the other parent says "no" to him. Last night both parents said "no" to drinking water from the dog dish and he called out " Zla Zla" ( his sister Zola)
Fisher (our 5 yr old) insisted on going to Blockbuster tonight in 38 degree weather , wearing shorts and sandals. The only way he wore a coat was to bribe him with candy.
Two oldest sons came downstairs at 12:45am to show us the green aliens they drew on their stomachs.
Caught youngest on counter with a Ginza knife. As I went to grab it, he twirled it around his head (Ginza fashion) and whipped it across the kitchen.
Found youngest son's baby doll covered in Aveda hair cream. Baby smells $20 better.
Here are the observations, about our life as a homeschooling family . I’m a stay at home mom with four kids (ages 10,8,6,2). They continue to amaze me on a daily basis. Their humor and adventures keep me on my toes continually-I’m surprised I’m not a professional point dancer yet. We also have two Beagles and two cats. I hope to carve out more time for crafting in order to maintain my sanity. Also, wishing I had more time to meet my friends for coffee or wine so here is my attempt to meet through cyberspace. So sit down and have a cup/glass with me and let’s catch up on the mundane and the poignant moments of life.
